Would be nice to see a first non-Christian POTUS
Though DJT claimed to be Buddhist on Fox News Fox & friends; ephemerally.
I’m Semitic/Arab but I’m not jewish. I am Mazel tov nikkah-ed to a jewish man though since July 21st 2012. He made me convert him to Islam which for Jewish people is simply saying Shahada. Since unlike Christians Jews don’t commit shirq or eat pork. Halal & kosher are mostly synonymous. - should I call this fiction for the purpose of self protection; nothing I write is written under oath; so please don’t treat it as such/سچ ha ha

Not a single Jew or Muslim POTUS, his initials are BS.
But I don’t like Bernie because I’m ageist and he strikes me as a talker not a doer, more #misogynistic than anti-corruption. But do believe that he might be the next POTUS.

(ible Poss)ibility of a
non-protestant American President or Jewish British Prime Minister in my life time.
The Argument Robin Shepherd (Zionist Zealot) made in this article dated Nov. 18, 2009 4:50 p.m. ET in the Wall Street Journal is that British news media is anti-Zionist, anti-Israel and therefore antisemitic;while both The UK and US continue to ecumenically and Militarily support Israel, one of the richest and technologically advanced countries in the world.
Citation: Obama also pointed out that Israel is the only country in the Middle East that has been offered the new F-35, a fifth-generation U.S. strike fighter, the first of which is expected to be delivered next year. It’s an example of Qualitative Military Edge, or QME, a policy enacted into law by Congress in 2008 that requires U.S. presidents to carry out an “empirical and qualitative assessment on an ongoing basis of the extent to which Israel possesses a qualitative military edge over military threats to Israel.”

Obama’s actions prove his commitment. Israel continues to be
the top recipient of U.S. foreign military financing, and for fiscal year 2016, the administration requested $3.1 billion in funding. The two nations also have begun preliminary talks on a long-term package that would provide up to $45 billion in security assistance grant aid through 2028. Early this year, Israel signed a contract with the United States for the purchase of 14 F-35 fighter jets, amounting to $3 billion.
“Since the October War in 1973, Washington has provided Israel with a level of support dwarfing the amounts provided to any other state. It has been the largest annual recipient of direct U.S. economic and military assistance since 1976 and the largest total recipient since World War ll. Total direct U.S. aid to Israel amounts to well over $140 billion in 2003 dollars. Israel receives about $3 billion in direct foreign assistance each year, which is roughly one-fifth of America’s entire foreign aid budget. In per capita terms, the United States gives each Israeli a direct subsidy worth about $500 per year. This largesse is especially striking when one realizes that Israel is now a wealthy industrial state with a per capita income roughly equal to South Korea or Spain.”- John J. Mearsheimer and Stephen M. Walt
Citation:The move completes a stunning reversal for Paul, who in May 2011, after just five months in office, released his own budget that would have eliminated four agencies—Commerce, Housing and Urban Development, Energy and Education—while slashing the Pentagon, a sacred cow for many Republicans. Under Paul’s
original proposal, defense spending would have dropped from $553 billion in the 2011 fiscal year to $542 billion in 2016. War funding would have plummeted from $159 billion to zero. He called it the “draw-down and restructuring of the Department of Defense.”
I guess Dr. Paul figured out that flip-flopping gets support in Washington: Hilary Clinton’s many Flip-flops and resultant support boosts.

Citation: Yet polling also shows that Mr. Sanders is
losing groundto Mrs. Clinton and relinquishing the edge he had in Iowa and New Hampshire, the states that hold the first two contests. The same Journal-NBC News poll showed Mrs. Clinton
beating Mr. Sanders by a margin of 62%-31% nationally.
Meanwhile in the UK, Labour suffers and the SNP makes great strides in Scotland.
Citation: There have been an abundance of Catholic vice presidential nominees since 1960, but their Catholicism was often seen as a balance to the Protestant at the top of the ticket. They include William E. Miller, Barry Goldwater’s running mate in 1964; Ed Muskie, Hubert Humphrey’s running mate in 1968; Sargent Shriver, George McGovern’s running mate in 1972; Geraldine Ferraro, Walter Mondale’s running mate in 1984; and Joe Biden, Barack Obama’s running mate in 2008, which made Biden the first Catholic elected nationwide since JFK 48 years earlier.
Citation: As for anti-Semitism more generally, the picture is far from perfect but perhaps not as worrying as it is in other countries in Europe. Just 10 per cent of all respondents agreed with the statement that
– although once again UKIP supporters stood out somewhat. Some 18 per cent of them agreed with this statement, compared to 9 per cent of those planning to vote Conservative,
.It is also worth noting that 23 per cent of UKIP supporters disagreed with the statement. But that compared to 38 per cent of Conservative supporters, 44 per cent of Labour supporters and 47 per cent of Lib Dem supporters. While it’s important not to exaggerate them, the differences between supporters of different parties – or rather the supporters of one party and the rest – are quite striking.

That history undercuts the claim that Mr. Sanders is
truly committed to the Democratic Party, one of his rivals, former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley, suggests. In an appearance on a TV talk show Sunday Mr. Sanders pushed back on the notion that he is not a true Democrat.“I made a decision in this presidential election that I will run as a Democrat; I am a Democrat now,” Mr. Sanders said on ABC’s “This Week.”At a candidate forum Friday in South Carolina, Mr. O’Malley took aim at Mr. Sanders’s longstanding identification as an independent.“I think that when President Obama was running for reelection, I was glad to step up and work very hard for him, while Senator Sanders was trying to find someone to primary him,” Mr. O’Malley said. “I am a Democrat. I’m a lifelong Democrat. I’m not a former independent. I’m not a former Republican. I believe in the party of Franklin Roosevelt, the party of John F. Kennedy.”
Both Bernie Sanders(Former Independent) and Rand Paul(former Libertarian) have spoken out against Obama and Hilary. Both rant against war(despite underlying dichotomies in their position). Both employ Anthony Giddens’ Third Way Like Tony Blair and Bill Clinton in their proposed polity.

Citation: Seven months from now, that polling is going to matter to people trying to maximize their insurgent vote. In 2000, Democratic insurgent Bill Bradley
lost votes to Republican insurgent John McCain, often from independents who were concerned about campaign finance reform or honesty in Washington. In 2008, the Barack Obama campaign watched some swing voters jump over to McCain—again—after polling seemed to indicate that he’d have a tougher time winning the primary than the surging Illinois Democrat. In both years, their snap decisions were worth a few thousand votes, in a contest often fought by inches.

As I said in January, whoever wins the presidency is going to need serious support from
Millennials. Young people are generally more willing to support candidates who depart from the traditional views of the parties. So who would get the Millennial vote? Paul or Sanders?Although the candidates’ economic platforms are virtually antithetical — Sanders supports universal Medicaid and expanded Social Security, whereas
Paul believes in small government and a simplified tax code — many of their policies are almost
identical.
Citation: Today we compete in the era of global markets, and I say this to our Conservative opponents. There is no future for Britain as a low-wage, low-skill, low-technology economy. We will compete on the basis of quality or not at all. This means a stable economy, long-term investment, the enterprise of our people set free.First, let us get the fundamentals right. Look at the Tories - two recessions, one of which wiped out a third of our manufacturing base; borrowed their way into the record books; the pound devalued; North Sea oil money gone; all the money from asset sales gone. It is sometimes said, you know, that the Tories are cruel but they are efficient. In fact, they are the most feckless, irresponsible, incompetent managers of the British economy in this country’s history.- Tony Blair
Blair said “My kind of socialism is a set of values based around notions of
social justice … Socialism as a rigid form of
economic determinism has ended, and rightly”.
[5]Blair referred to it as “social-ism” that involves politics that recognized individuals as socially interdependent, and advocated social justice, social cohesion, equal worth of each citizen, and equal opportunity.[6
To me personally, the simple fact is Rand Paul criticized NSA Spending, War-mongering and Hilary-Obama first. Bernie strikes me as something of a copycat in those matters.
